Righi designed and realised an advanced automation system for a 4WD chassis dynamometer dedicated to brake testing, installed in an air-conditioned semi-anechoic test room at a leading automotive component manufacturing customer. The project included hardware and software engineering, the supply of highly reliable electrical equipment, commissioning and technical support both on-site and remotely. The automation system manages the dynamic simulation of braking tests in real time, ensuring accuracy, reliability and high repeatability of measurements under controlled conditions.

Challenge

The objective was to realise an automation system capable of centrally and precisely managing all phases of the braking test, simulating the real dynamic conditions of the vehicle. The complexity of the operations required a robust system, capable of integrating with the different equipment in the test room and providing effective technical support during the test phases.
