Integrated goods control and sorting solution for an international leader in logistics
Righi designed and implemented the electrical control system for a major automated logistics centre located in the Netherlands, working with a global leader in sorting and material handling solutions.
The project included the supply and installation of 68 electrical control cabinets, 3D design of the power and control interconnections, and commissioning support for a complex system comprising 18 infeed lines, a 400-metre ring sorter, 348 parcel exit chutes and additional belts to ensure optimal integration of the entire logistics facility.
Challenge
Designing an advanced, highly efficient and flexible control system capable of handling large volumes of packages with weights ranging from 100g to 10kg, minimising downtime and optimising staff deployment, within a highly automated and complex environment.
