Supply of hybrid MCC cabinets with remote I/O and integrated PLC section for flexibility, compactness and simplified maintenance
Righi Elettroservizi designed and built four hybrid MCC switchboards, combining fixed and withdrawable sections in a single compact and efficient architecture.
The project included:
- Complete executive design, focusing on space optimisation and interfacing with the client’s DCS system;
- Construction of MCC switchboards with integrated remote I/Os for simplified management of field signals;
- In-person testing (FAT), including functional testing with DCS interface simulation;
- Installation at the customer’s production site and positioning supervision;
Challenge
Optimise installation space and simplify the management of utilities in a complex chemical plant, while ensuring easy interfacing with the existing DCS system and reducing plant floor space.
