Baggage control and sorting system
Design and construction of switchboards and automation for a complex logistics plant

Challenge
The main objective was to develop a reliable and scalable automation system capable of efficiently and safely handling a high baggage flow with reduced downtime and maximum synchronisation between mechanical and electrical components. The complexity of the project required special attention to the integration of multiple systems, the robustness of the switchboards, and compliance with CEI regulations in the field of electrical safety and power distribution.
Results/benefits achieved by the customer
- Design and implementation of an integrated control system capable of simultaneously managing multiple lines and sorting points, ensuring a continuous, synchronised and highly reliable flow of baggage.
- Significant reduction in plant downtime thanks to a modular switchboard architecture and the implementation of advanced predictive maintenance strategies based on real-time monitoring.
- Optimisation of energy efficiency through the adoption of high-performance power distribution boards and advanced control systems, resulting in reduced consumption and better resource management.
- Guaranteed compliance with CEI regulations and current electrical safety standards, ensuring high levels of reliability, operational safety and protection of technical personnel.
