Revamping and integration of glass composition plant

Challenge
The customer needed to:
- Modernise a critical plant for the casting process, ensuring seamless integration with existing equipment
- Implement state-of-the-art automation and supervision solutions with high safety standards and CE compliance
- Reduce plant downtime through optimised cabling and improved software, keeping the line running during changeovers
- Realise a flexible, modular and scalable system supporting centralised management and control from remote locations

- Optimisation of fusion process management through integrated automation and a SCADA supervision system based on Ignition software, with real-time monitoring, alarm notifications and advanced reporting
