Role:

The Service Manager has a strategic role in coordinating technical support and maintenance activities, with a focus on the Plant and Energy divisions. He collaborates closely with operational resources, particularly in the Automation division, to ensure operational continuity, integration of services and full customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all service activities on industrial electrical installations and energy systems.
  • Collaborate with the Automation sector contact person for an integrated management of interventions.
  • Planning and supervising ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, managing internal and external teams.
  • Supervise maintenance, technical assistance and intervention contracts, ensuring the correct interpretation and application of contractual clauses, as well as compliance with obligations, with particular attention to penalties, service levels (SLAs) and the management of change or renewal requests.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and technical regulations (CEI, ISO).
  • Implement tools for monitoring activities and analysing operational data.
  • Manage customer and supplier relations, identifying priorities and solutions.
  • Promote continuous improvement, operational efficiency and sustainability.

Competences and soft skills required

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical installations, energy technology and energy efficiency.
  • Familiarity with the technical standards of the sector (CEI, ISO).
  • Skills in strategic resource planning and management.
  • Leadership and systemic vision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing strategic relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Problem solving and decision making oriented towards data analysis.

Objectives and ideal profile

  • Proven experience in similar roles in the plant or energy sector.
  • Expertise in supply chain management for maintenance activities and energy resources.
  • Ability to consolidate the reliability and quality of the technical service provided.
  • Orientation towards customer satisfaction through rapid and effective intervention.
  • Aptitude for optimising operating costs and resources through continuous process improvement.

Availability for travel:

Occasional travel will be required to attend coordination meetings and to supervise site activities (approx. 50 days/year, Italy/Europe).
