Automation and digitisation of the

Integrated solution with automation software, Profinet control and HMI supervision for an efficient and traceable production process
For a customer located in Forlì, active in the chemical sector, Righi developed a complete automation project for the mixing of calcium phosphates for zootechnical use.
The project included:
- Electrical engineering for the design and realisation of the control panels and field plant, in compliance with current regulations;
- Development of industrial automation software for the complete and integrated management of the entire production process, from dosing to mixing;
- Integration of 6 Profinet network devices for distributed, high-performance control;
- Addition of 2 HMI operator panels for man-machine interface, with alarm management, advanced diagnostics and access to historical data;
- Supervision and control of over 350 physical I/O, digital and analogue points, ensuring constant monitoring of the entire production process;
Challenge
Ensuring precise and automated control of the chemical mixing process, ensuring the quality and repeatability of the finished product, reducing waste and minimising manual intervention in a complex production environment.
